Safety Covers

Installing a swimming pool safety cover begins with precise measurements to ensure a perfect fit over the pool. Once the cover is laid out evenly across the pool, I lace the tension springs onto the cover’s straps, making sure they are properly positioned for secure anchoring. Next, I use a hammer drill to create anchor holes in the surrounding concrete deck, spacing them according to the manufacturer’s guidelines to distribute tension evenly. After drilling, I insert the brass or stainless-steel anchors into the holes, securing them flush with the deck. With all anchors in place, I use a loop lock installation bar to stretch the springs and hook them onto the anchors, ensuring the cover is pulled tight across the pool. This process creates a flush, taut fit with the concrete, preventing sagging and keeping debris out. After a final tension check, I verify that the cover is secure and evenly distributed, providing a strong, durable barrier for safety and winter protection.
